For China, the development of new urbanization itself is an innovative practice, there is no existing template for copy and paste. Therefore, we must break the inherent mode and create a new development path. In China's fast urbanization process, there is such a group of explorers with pioneering spirit that they have worked out some experience of China's urbanization for newcomers learning from. In the Eighth Session of China International Urbanization Summit held on April 30, these practical experience was released in the Summit by the form of typical cases. under the theme of new urbanization and land utilization, these typical cases have depicted the development blueprint of China's new urbanization construction and land reform field in 2014 with their practice and fully reflected the excellence, vision, responsibility, innovation and other elements. Meanwhile, the case release mode of typical case report - authoritative expert reviews - live interaction was once again strongly affirmed by the attending guests.

　　In the Summit, Li Bingren, former Chief Economist of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Executive Deputy Director of CIUDSRC and Florian  Schmied, Chairman of the Construction Committee of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China awarded the trophy for the winning cases. Experts and scholars from home and abroad have respectively and professionally reviewed these cases from land acquisition and urbanization space security, land paid use system and urbanization development momentum, comprehensive land management and the combination of urban and rural areas, people-oriented urbanization and other aspects. All of them agreed, these typical cases showed us that urbanization shall be a more open and integrated trend, gradually concern and solve the land problem and social issues faced by us, thus providing new opportunities and new power for the progress and development of the society. Li Jinkui, Deputy Director of CIUDSRC, Chief Researcher of China Development Institute (Shenzhen·China) also evaluated it in presiding over the case report link  that the case participants are the true practitioner new urbanization.

　　As the fixed link of each session of China International Urbanization Summit, 2014 China's Urbanization Typical Case is a cross-year Wselection event of public welfare organized by CIUDSRC Urbanization, under the guidance of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Science and Technology Committee and Ministry of Land and Resources Science and Technology Export Advisory Committee.
